Why Yin Yoga?
Yin yoga is a slow-paced, meditative yoga style that focuses on stretching and lengthening deep connective tissues, such as ligaments, joints, and bones. It's based on ancient Chinese Taoist philosophies and incorporates principles of traditional Chinese medicine.
Instructor
Sonal Abhyanker started Solely Yin s to serve a need in the local Yoga community While there are multiple yoga studios in Mountain View, she sees a growing need for slowing down and reconnecting with breath and self. Yin yoga harmoniously accomplishes this goal.
Sonal's idea of a perfect day is driving to Santa Cruz with her family and golden retriever to get a flat white at Verve Coffee and then walking along West Cliff Drive.
